    Up for sale is a Revox C278 8 Channel 1/2 inch studio tape recorder. This was manufactured in West Germany by Revox, using Studer components.
    NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE LOGGING VERSION. THIS IS THE STANDARD UNIT.
    The C278 features:
    - 15 IPS & 7.5 IPS NAB EQ
    - 10.5 INCH reel capacity on NAB hubs
    - A smooth start servo feedback transport
    - Dolby HX Pro
    - RTZ, locate, and loop
    - An adaptive speed sensetive time readout
    - Removable and swappable audio cards
    - Easily accessible audio calibration. The meter bridge is hinge mounted, allowing easy access to the cards.
    - A small physical footprint (18 x 19 x 11 inches)
    - Standard rack mounting
    - And selectable mains voltage
    This particular unit is in EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION.

    - Play and record heads relapped by JRF Magnetics (full report documents included in original envelope)
    - JRF Magnetics optical allignment of the head block
    - New Anithian bearing type pinch roller replacement (original Revox pinch roller included)
    - Calibrated and ready for ATR Mastertape @ 250 nWb/m
    Tests conducted on the unit:
    - Play, stop, record, fast forward, and fast reverse, as well as repro, sync, and input functions tested and working on all channels
    - Counter reset and RTZ transport controls tested and working
