    Description

    We are including 14 - 1973 40% Silver 'Brown Ikes' each with the original government issued brown box. This is the year with the lowest mintage and so it pulls a premium over the other years.
    These are proof coins that were minted in San Francisco and each includes the 's' mint mark.
    The obverse, or the front of these coins, shows American 5-Star General President Dwight D Eisenhower.
    The reverse, or the back of the coins, have the official insignia of Apollo 11. This honors the United States landing on the moon. An eagle is shown hovering over the surface of the moon with an olive branch clasped in its talons. In the distance behind the eagle, Planet Earth is shown with the United States facing towards the front.
    It is common for many of the coins to have hazing or toning. Each of boxes are in good shape but will show some signs of wear. They are almost 50 years old!
